New Year, New Me?

"Let's raise our glasses to a year of change!"
"....a year of.....better luck...."
"....donating a kidney..."
"....adopting twins from southern Malaysia...."
"....cleaning out my closet...."
"...spending less money on clothes..."
"A New Year, A New Me!"

As much as I wish my resolutions were either as inspiring or stereotypical as those above, I have to admit that they are not. My list is just little things that are important to me:

Chloe's 2013 Resolutions
1. Be conscious of where products are made
(make an effort to buy things from the U.S. or European countries)
2. Cleanse and moisturize my face every morning
3.Remove my makeup every single night
4.Try to buy makeup that is natural or organic over regular drugstore brands
5. Develop a service project to directly help my school
6. Make dinner at least once a week/learn easy recipes
7. Get a job and start saving for college

What are your New Year's resolutions? I'd enjoy hearing them! Tell me in the comments below.

Love,
Chloe

The Color

   For me,
 the color of the season
 has been something of an
oxblood maroon with a tint of pink magenta spiceberry.

It has been a must have in nail polishes, a slight twist on the classic deep red of a traditional winter. As for clothes, American Eagle has been coming out with an armful of shirts and sweaters in this gorgeous color. I've also noticed it trending in pants and winter accessories, especially hats and scarfs.
Somehow it has yet to be classified with a name. Imagine rambling off "Oxblood maroon with a pink magenta spiceberry tint" every time I want to describe a new dress. Obnoxious. I'll stick with just calling it "The Color". Or.....

    .                                                                "Maroo-ink-ta"

It has attitude,
Character,
Depth.
A little edge,
but...
Mostly it speaks of Glamour.

Happy New Years!

OooxxxooO,
Chloe

P.S.
As soon as I wrote this I heard someone call it Burgundy....That works too.
